An App for Organizing My Life

What is the need?  I admit I am not organized. I do not know how to organize documents to place in correct folders, how to take down and save notes with the use of technology and to give myself reminders on my phone to stay organized. In order to help my students stay organized, the teacher needs to learn and model the behavior first. The need is what resources can I use to organize my notes, reminders, and schedule all at once. The problem?     Subscribing to  Technology for Teachers and Students  has allowed me to learn more about Google Calendar and the diverse technology resources to help make life easier to plan for myself. With Google Calendar, I was able to learn how to set events/times. Another feature has allowed me to set personal and academic goals for myself to stay focused on the task. My Model Classroom

           The Core Elementary School is an urban setting school in the town of Powers. The Core Values at Core Elementary School reflect the teacher’s teaching philosophy and outline the next level learning and 21 st century learner’s education and environment. Powers is a low-income town and 70% of students receive reduced o free breakfast and lunch. The ethnicity of the Core Elementary School is 65% Caucasian, 10% African American, 20% Hispanic and 5% Portuguese. Even though the core Elementary School is not a religious school, a large number of students are Christian.                  The teacher’s 3rd-grade class has eleven boys and ten girls ranging from nine to ten years old. Four of the eleven students are ELL’s and two of the eleven girls are ELLS. Four students in the classroom are on IEPs. The teacher teaches all elementary content subjects.
